INFORMATION IN COMPLIANCE WITH AND BY THE EFFECTS OF ART. 13 OF THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION CODE PURSUANT TO LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO. 196 DATED 30 JUNE 2003

Hotel Ambasciata, in compliance with and by the effects of Art. 13 of the Personal Data Protection Code pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30 June 2003 (hereinafter the Code), with provisions for the protection of people and other subjects with regard to the processing of personal data, concerning the personal data it intends to process, provides the data subject interested in the use of the information service via electronic mail (hereinafter the data subject) with the following information.


1. Purpose of data processing and nature of providing personal data

The personal data collected will be processed, stored and filed by the Hotel Ambasciata for the following purposes:

a. Purposes strictly connected and instrumental to the creation of a data bank to be used to select personnel in the event that the Hotel Ambasciata should need to recruit new employees in the various sectors of its activity. Providing the personal data marked with an asterisk is compulsory; failure to input the obligatory data will lead to the refusal of the Hotel Ambasciata to include the curriculum in its data bank.

b. Purposes connected to commercial information and promotion regarding the development of new services and offers of products and/or the possibility to benefit from specific advantageous conditions, even through third-party companies, as well as its communication to companies in the field of commercial information and promotion or for the purpose of checking the data subjectís level of satisfaction in relation to the services offered by the Hotel Ambasciata. Processing connected to such purposes requires the consent of the data subject and the failure to issue such authorization to process the data will impede the sending of information or advertising material or the carrying out of marketing activities or recording of the level of satisfaction of the data subject with reference to the service provided.


2. Types of handled data

2.1 Data automatically supplied by the User
During operations, information systems and procedures connected with this website collect some personal data about the User. It is navigation data connected with the technical use of the site, which allow the registered user to access the services that are offered. This information is given compulsorily. This type of information allows the identification the user or the interested party. In this category of data we find IP address and other information connected with the identity of the User or his/her technical modalities of accessing the site. This data is used solely for the objectives indicated above, and only for the length of time that is necessary to execute the services requested by the User. The User will have the prerogative to request removal of such data at any time for legitimate reasons. This kind of data could be used to verify responsibility in case of possible cybercrimes against the site.

2.2 Data voluntarily supplied by the User
The e-mail addresses and the information contained in any messages sent are to be considered as personal data. Therefore, the optional and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses stated on this site implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender's e-mail address on behalf of the respective recipient that is necessary in order to send replies to requests as well as any other personal data contained in the message itself. According to what is described in more detail in the informative note and after having obtained the consent to the processing of the personal data (where necessary), this may be used for the purpose of increasing business contacts, as well as providing the applicant with information relating to our services.

3. Optionality of data provision

Apart from what specified for navigation data, the user is free to disclose his personal data reported in the forms or mentioned in the contacts to request information material or other communications. Their absence can make impossible to fulfil the user request.

4. Method of data processing in relation to the purposes indicated

Processing of personal data by the Hotel Ambasciata will be carried out using manual, IT and computer tools and will be organized on the basis of logics related to the aforementioned declared purposes and in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the protection and confidentiality of the data processed. Storage and filing of personal data will be carried out using both electronic and IT tools and special paper files.


5. Categories of subjects that personal data may be communicated to or that may become aware of the data in their position as data managers or appointees

5.1. In order to fulfil the obligations provided for by legal, regulatory or European Community provisions, the personal data collected can be communicated to the subjects identified by these laws, without authorization by the data subject being necessary.

5.2. The personal data collected can also be communicated to categories of subjects that carry out connected and instrumental activities to the provision of services present on the website and to fulfil the activities of the Hotel Ambasciata or may become aware to the same in their position of data processors appointed by the Hotel Ambasciata. These categories of subjects include, merely by way of example and not limited to, subjects that carry out the following activities: hosting services; storage and filing of personal data from documents or other supports provided or originated by the same users.

5.3. Personal data can be communicated to third parties that have drawn up commercial agreements with the Hotel Ambasciata and are specialized in carrying out activities in the field of promotions, marketing, sales information and quality control of the services provided by the Hotel Ambasciata. Failure of the data subject to grant authorization to communicate data to the aforementioned subjects could, in some cases, determine the practical impossibility for the Hotel Ambasciata to provide the commercial services requested.

5.4. Some categories of subjects, in their position as data processing appointees, may access information regarding the data subject in order to fulfil the tasks and jobs entrusted to them. In particular, the Hotel Ambasciata has entrusted or may entrust its employees or its consultants or collaborators to process data. Likewise, the subjects appointed by the Hotel Ambasciata as data processors may also become aware of information regarding the data subject while carrying out their allocated tasks.

5.5. Personal data can also be communicated to controlled and/or associated companies or in any case, companies belonging to the same group as the Hotel Ambasciata.

5.6. The Hotel Ambasciata does not diffuse personal data processed by the same. The data subject can, at any time, request the Hotel Ambasciata to know the exact identity, details or company name of the subjects to whom the Hotel Ambasciata has communicated his or her relevant personal data.


6. Rights of the data subject

Art. 7 of the Code confers specific rights to the data subject including the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her exists and the communication of such data in intelligible form; to be informed of the source of personal data, as well as the logic applied and objectives of processing; to obtain the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, as well as the updating, the rectification or, where interested therein, the integration of the data; to oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing itself.

The rights referred to in the present paragraph can be exercised by forwarding an informal request to the data controller or data processor, even through an appointee, to the address of the registered office of the Hotel Ambasciata by registered mail, fax or email. With regard to the exercising of the rights pursuant to Art. 7, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Code, the request can also be transmitted orally. For each request for confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him or her, the data subject may be asked, if the existence of the same should not be confirmed, to contribute to costs which will amount to not more than the costs effectively sustained, based on the methods and within the limits established by the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.

Having read and understood the information provided by the Hotel Ambasciata and having taken note of its content, I declare that I have been informed regarding: the purposes of the processing of my personal data and the methods used for the same, as specified in the information above; the obligatory nature of providing the data pursuant to point 1.a; the subjects to whom the data can be communicated and diffused and the subjects that may become aware of the data in their position as managers or appointees as part of carrying out the aforementioned processing; my rights pursuant to Art. 7 of the Code; the data controller and data processor.

All this being given, in compliance with Art. 23 and Art. 25 of the Code, I authorize the collection, processing and communication of the data connected and instrumental to the provision of services and the execution of my requests. In compliance with Arts. 23 and 25 of the Code, with reference to the collection, processing and communication of my personal data for the purposes of providing information and sales promotions, as well as the communication of the same data to companies specializing in information and sales promotions and companies either controlled and/or associated with the data controller, aware that granting authorization to processing aimed at achieving the above-mentioned objectives is not obligatory, but that failure to do so may prevent the execution of some services or in any case, may jeopardize optimal execution of the same.
